Being Seen, Going Green ♻️
Our first time completing a green project and it was received very well by hundreds of attendees across the day.
The day featured an insightful talk from EV specialist Kit Lacey, renowned for transforming classic Volkswagen campervans into fully electric vehicles. His presentation offered visitors a fascinating glimpse into the future of clean transport and how heritage vehicles can be given a new, eco-friendly life.
As part of East Coast Cruising’s broader green initiatives, we also showcased new steps we’re taking to reduce waste across our events. These include:
- Recycling and repurposing our old event signage
- Cutting down on paper use through reusable cups, condensed leaflets, and digital information
- Exploring further ways to reduce our environmental footprint year-round
We completed eco-friendly kids crafts using recycled materials and educating the next generation about sustainability.
“Being Seen, Going Green” reflects our belief that small changes can make a big difference and that sustainability works best when the whole community gets involved.
